FP Schwarz

FP (Frank) Schwarz is the author of BELIEVE GOD and the novel Welcome to the Grand Illusion. His writing focuses on truth, meaning, and spiritual reality—often by challenging the assumptions that keep people from seeing what is real.

His first book, BELIEVE GOD, is a book about God that intentionally avoids religion. It challenges readers to consider God not as a subject of religious belief, but as a matter of truth and reality. The book includes a paraphrase of the Gospel of John, inviting readers to approach it not as a religious text, but as a firsthand testimony from one of Jesus’ closest friends. As John shows us who Jesus is, Jesus shows us who God is. Its central challenge is simple but radical: not to believe in religion, but to believe God.

His second book, Welcome to the Grand Illusion, approaches truth from a different direction. Written as a work of historical fiction, the novel follows a man who begins to see how unseen forces shape culture, belief, and personal identity. Through story rather than instruction, the book explores how illusion, fear, and conformity distort meaning—and how aligning with what is real brings clarity and peace.

FP Schwarz has lived in Billings for 35 years. He is the father of three children and the grandfather of five. Across both books, his work is unified by a single aim: not to tell readers what to believe, but to help them learn how to see.
